1.Is there a cost to join T.Y.E.S.?
There is no cost for participation.
2.How do I get registered for T.Y.E.S.?
You give us a phone call and we set up a time when you can meet with the coordinators.
3.How long does the intake take?
Approximately 45 minutes
4.Do I need a medical assessment?
No. You need to self-disclose what your disability is.
5.How long is the T.Y.E.S.’ program?
It is different for each person depending on need and experience. The program is individualized.
6.What kinds of jobs can I get?
Have a look at the employer’s list. There are lots of different jobs and employers. You will work with staff to decide what job would be the right one for you.
7.Do I have to be a youth to come to T.Y.E.S.?
No. Youth are a target group but we work with people from 16 years onward.
8.Can someone help me to create a resume?
Yes. A staff member is able to work with you one on one for resumes, cover letters and applications.
9.Can you help me find a summer job when I am still in school?
T.Y.E.S. works with individuals who are finished going to school.
10.Can you help me when I get my job?
T.Y.E.S.’ job coaches can go with you to the worksite to make sure that you are able to understand and are able to do exactly what is expected of you.
